Mr. Weidner has worked in development co-operation since 1996. As an IT consultant, he supported various projects in Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, and Yemen. His work focuses on planning, designing, building, and introducing information systems, particularly MIS.

Upon his graduation from university, Mr. Weidner joined a Mobile Data Communications start-up and set up their development department. After 2 ½ years he went abroad to look for new challenges and gain international work experience. From 1999 on he studied at Cambridge University and received his M.B.A. degree in 2001. Since then he has worked with A.T. Kearney management consultants and TLC GmbH.
